Solid Foundations is a turnkey raft foundation company with offices in Pretoria, Gauteng. We specialise in a variety of raft foundations and concrete related work. We understand the importance of on time project completion and we strive to fully meet our clients expectations, ensuring top quality rafts, with service excellence. The sister company of Solid Foundations, Kaan Development nr 4 (pty) ltd. was established in 2015 and is a full turnkey development & civil company that has built over 400 houses.
This provided Niekkie de Beer with an opportunity in the market to stop outsourcing the raft foundations and Solid Foundations were born. Solid Foundations have entered the raft industry in 2018, quality of work is an important aspect to us and therefore have we involved two industry experts to take charge of operations and together.
Solid Foundations have over 40 years of experience in the industry.

Herman Potgieter – Project Manager
An experienced Construction Supervisor and Leader with a wealth of knowledge and capabilities within the construction and business operational space.
Partnering with the business in order to manage project personnel and build top performing teams to achieve corporate objectives. Skilled in directing multiple projects, including but not limited to talent attraction and management, training and development and performance management.
